Privacy Notice

This notice covers the Halo marketing website and launch interest list, operated by Casey Elliott. It does not describe the future app’s privacy practices.

What you share

We collect your email, optional first name, preferred design, whether you are interested as an individual or chapter, and an optional chapter/university name. If you separately choose text updates, we collect your mobile number. We record your channel choices, the consent wording/version, the page source, and signup time. The list is for adults 18 and older. Do not submit incident details, health information, or location data.

How we use it

We use these details for Halo launch and occasional product updates, chapter-interest follow-up, and aggregate design interest. We do not sell the list or share it for other businesses’ advertising. Email addresses and phone numbers are not verified by this form. No email or text is automatically sent when you sign up.

Where it is stored

Vercel hosts this website and stores interest records in a private, access-controlled Blob store in the United States. Only the operator and authorized service access can retrieve the records. Operator exports are kept private. A future email or SMS provider will process the contact details needed for the channel you chose once messaging is configured.

Site and security data

We do not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Hosting infrastructure processes request information to serve and protect the site. The signup service uses a keyed hash of the requesting IP address for hourly abuse limits; it does not save the raw IP address in signup records. The rate-limit marker contains no contact details. There is no location collection, camera access, or microphone access on this website.

Choices and retention

Your signup confirmation includes an unsubscribe link that stops both email and SMS updates for that email. You can also email support@blueprintdesign.org to unsubscribe, request access/correction, or request deletion. When messaging begins, emails will include unsubscribe information and SMS will support STOP. Joining requires no purchase.

We plan to review the launch list every 90 days and remove inactive records after 12 months without a launch or renewed permission. This is an operator-managed process, not an automatic deletion timer. Minimal consent/suppression records may be retained to respect your opt-out. Deletion requests are reviewed to prevent unauthorized removal.
